The end

… of the startup-phase of Colruyt India … and of this BLOG

This BLOG was created to keep you informed on the “pioneer-episode” or “toddler-time” of Colruyt India.

Well now, Colruyt India is no longer a toddler ! Not a grown up either,… but no longer a toddler anyway.
- It has become a company with almost
100 employees and still is fast growing.
- We celebrated our first birthday on march 15th 2008.
- Things get maturity : structures get settled,
  organization level has increased.

This, of course, in itself should not at all be a reason to stop a BLOG. Interesting, remarkable, funny,… events and observations will still be there of course.

BUT, there are or will be alternatives where you can stay informed :
- the website www.colruyt.in
It will get a facelift in the next coming months and
also include “company news" and events information.
- “ the CI Chronicle”, internal newsletter

So… (take your handkerchief) : Bye Bye and thank you for your attention !

Belgians cook for Indians

Last Thursday Ilse and Stefan made an Italian meal for our Indian colleagues.
On the menu there were garlic toasties, spirelli pasta with an Italian tomato curry and meatballs.
As a dessert they served chocomisu. Not all ingredients were found to make a real Italian tiramisu so they invented their own dessert.
Everybody liked it.
